Hello! Welcome to our web page!
We are Dan and Kate Crooker. We live in the beautiful mountains of western Maine....Bethel, Maine to be exact. We bought an 1825 farm house in August of 2006 and are slowly breathing some new life into it. We have three adorable dogs, two silly cats, two funny goats, six LOUD guinea fowl and a rooster. We are building this website for our own enjoyment and to help keep our families current on what's going on in our lives.
Our Home
I should put some before pictures in here too....i will at some point. When we bought this house your couldn't even see the door to the barn because there was so much brushy growth around the house. Dan also cut down five trees...one at each front corner of the house and then three along the side you can't see. Last summer we put in a gravel driveway so that we didn't have to deal with the messiness of mud season. We also planted some flowers and plants around the side and front of the house. They are still small but it looks so much nicer now! This summer we want to paint the house....I can't wait to be rid of what I call the sponge painted barn!!!! WooHoo!!
